Hotham Snow Report, 28 August 2014

August 28 2014

Same again.

Clear sky with a 35 km southeasterly which is forecast to back right off during the morning to leave us with very light winds for the next few days.

We had another decent freeze overnight due to the low humidity but I expect many of the groomed areas will be a tad more user friendly first thing today than the super slick conditions of yesterday morning. Even though the temp was mild the humidity dropped enough to make snow for a while on some runs last night.

After an epic couple of days, today is the last chance to see the guys and girls in the FIS races. If it is too slick for you first up, head down to Snake Gully Hut, grab a coffee and watch these guys hold an edge.

Enjoy.

Cheers Bill.
