Hotham Snow Report, 31 August 2014

Sunny again today but the wind has picked up from the northwest signalling a change on the way.

Yesterday saw the closing of Davenport Access Track due to lack of snow, and the Blue Ribbon runs above it were also closed. A bit sad, but that whole area of the hill has given us great service this season so we can’t complain. Keogh’s and Orchard will be next to bite the dust but it will depend on what happens this week as to how long that will be. Who knows, we may get enough snow during September to open the whole mountain again.

In the meantime make the most of today while we have great weather, a great cover in many areas, and great spring snow conditions.
