Mark Sedon injured in helicopter accident.

August 18 2014

Many of you may have heard of the recent helicopter accident in New Zealand which caused one fatality and injured six others.  Bills Trips guide ‘Mark Sedon’ was in the helicopter that crashed and thankfully survived.  He has sustained vertebrae and rib fractures, cuts and bruises but fortunately is expected to make a full recovery and be back in action before too long.

The full details of the event are unknown, but it must have been an horrific experience and our thoughts go out to everyone involved, especially to the friends and family of the deceased.

During the southern hemisphere winters, Mark is the Chief Guide with Harris Mountain Heli Ski, which is one of New Zealand’s largest heliski operations.

All of us at Bill’s Trips wish Mark a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing you back on your skis very soon.

Cheers.
