Hotham Snow Report 1-9-2014

A pretty spectacular sky this morning with high cloud and a fire red horizon to the east.

The temp is a mild 2 degrees, but the 40 km hr northwesterly is giving us a wind chill of around minus 8. The groomers should be great first thing this morning, as there has not been a real solid freeze overnight but it will be firm enough for good carving. With the high cloud cover most aspects will soften pretty early.

There is precipitation in both forms forecast for today but nothing showing on the radar as yet. Get out there.
