Hotham Snow Report 10-08-14

After a couple of very spring like days we are back in to winter. It has only snowed about 3 cm overnight but it is snowing pretty hard as I write this.  There is a stiff north-westerly blowing, there is cloud in the village and the radar shows the precipitation continuing for a while yet. The snow has fallen on a frozen base so it will be dust on crust in many areas. Stick to the groomers or wind drifted gullies for the best turns this morning.
