Hotham Snow Report, 17 August 2014
August 17 2014It looks like our glory run of perfect weather days is over for a bit.
No precipitation as yet but a light fog has moved in and there is a moderate easterly wind blowing. The temperature is minus 2 and the forecast is calling for a maximum of minus 1, so the green that is moving our way on the radar will either deliver snow or freezing rain. Either way it will help soften the pretty firm snow we have out there this morning.
It should be good on the groomers first up but wait for some precipitation or moisture of any sort before heading off piste.
Cheers Bill.
