Mt Hotham Snow Report 1 August 2014

This is a bit more like it. We have had 8 cm overnight and it is still snowing lightly now.

The wind has backed off from the “all lift closing” gales of yesterday afternoon, to a moderately strong north-westerly this morning. At the moment the base is still soft underneath the fresh but this may firm up and freeze.

Great turns to be had out there this morning but watch out for thin patches, holes and open creek lines that may not have been there a couple of days ago. Enjoy.
