Well, what an amazing 24hrs.

Steady rain yesterday turned torrential during the early evening, and finished off with a sensational electrical storm and some sloppy snow. In total we copped about 80 mm of rain so I am very impressed with what I can see out the window this morning. There has definitely been some damage done, but the hill looks in much better shape than I expected. I will give you a better idea of how we fared tomorrow morning.

Today looks great with a clear sky and a very light breeze from the south. The snow will be soft on the groomed but elsewhere there is a glaze that will soften as the day warms.
