Hotham Snow Report 2-9-2014

Not bad for the 2nd day of Spring!

We have had 8 cm of decent quality snow overnight and it is still snowing lightly now.  The temp is minus 2.8 and there is a stiff southwesterly blowing which is forecast to swing more to the south as the day progresses.

Get out there and enjoy the first powder turns we have had for quite a while.  The groomers have a few cms of fresh on top and will be great skiing, while there will be some deeper drifts off piste.  Just remeber that the cover was thin in some areas before this snow, so don’t go launching into anything just because it looks white as there will be some sharks underneath.
